The vision of the Tri-State Film Festival can be summed up in three words: innovate, illuminate and inspire.

Our mission is to bring the most innovative new films from around the world to the festival to illuminate and engage the viewer, and to inspire a renewed appreciation of the visual medium we call the “movies.”

Call us unpretentious. We put less emphasis on the red carpet experience and more on the quality of the programming.

Majestic-Star Entertainment and the Tri-State Chamber of Commerce capitalize on over 30 years of film programming, film festival creation, marketing and promotion in the tri-state area.

You will find something for everyone; a women’s film segment with industry experts and an award-winning film, the best of international shorts the latest, unreleased to the public international award-winning films, as well as the 50th anniversary screening of “To Kill a Mockingbird” with a special guest appearance of Mary Badham, who portrayed “Scout” and the original  ”Robin Hood” silent film.
